Top Tier is a woman owned business that specializes in Firearms and Basic Emergency Trauma Trainings. Both owning a firearm and providing emergency medical services comes with a significant weight of responsibility. It’s vital that our students are not only prepared and willing but embrace the responsibility of prioritizing safety and accountability.
Our overall goal is to empower our students with the knowledge and the confidence to begin or continue their journey in safely carrying and handling their firearms as well as providing efficient emergency medical services.
With our instructors, we provide hands on training that is safe, fun, and customized to each individual shooter and emergency responder. We offer weekend and non-traditional classes based on mutual availability. Our classes will equip you with invaluable knowledge and skills to save and protect yourself and your loved ones.

Instructor Thomas is Your Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and NRA Instructor whom you will see in the national spotlight saving lives and defending your 2A rights!
For 13 years, she has trained and worked as a Security Analyst under immediate supervision of the Exxonmobil FSO for the Baton Rouge area ExxonMobil Sites. This includes ExxonMobil Chemical and Refinery Plants, Entergy, and Port Allen Lube in Baton Rouge, La also Polyolefins, Resins finishing, and Plastics plants in Baker, La. Her job consisted of her being directly responsible for giving access to over 15,000 people which includes all employees and contractors which are assigned to these facilities, along with all other short-term contractors, incoming and outgoing deliveries, and visitors.
Currently, she works as a Safety Analyst at A major Chemical & Refinery plant in the Baton Rouge area. Her job title includes but not limited to preparing for audits, providing orientation and safety training for employees on policies, regulations, and procedures, notarizing jobs, trainings upkeep for all employees, preventing workplace injuries and illnesses, enforcing the Company’s policies and procedures, and ensuring all work is performed safely.
In addition, she’s a licensed Public Notary, Certified NRA Instructor, Licensed AHA BLS Instructor, as well as a licensed Bail Bonds Woman. She has superb investigation and people management skills. In her 15 years of Safety duties and being an instructor, she has helped create and implement a variety of security programs, safety programs, policies, and procedures to comply with applicable laws and company expectations. These programs include, but are not limited to: MARSEC, general safety, personal protective equipment, emergency operations, risk assessment and management, and hazard recognition and mitigation. Furthermore, she is responsible for investigating accidents, inspecting work areas, making necessary changes to mitigate and eliminate hazards, and ensuring supervision and management is aware of existing hazards and mitigation techniques utilized in identified areas.
